Seahorses are fascinating and delicate looking creatures. The males, not females, carry the young to term. The contour and spiraling lines of the waterspout echo the shape and movement of the seahorses. The blue foam created through the “aquatint” process conjures a cool feeling of liquidity in an underwater sanctuary. A diver can be seen as a background shadow.
