Colorado Splendor-Golden Aspen (2012)

Media & Technique: Reduction linocut
Print Size:
Edition size: 17
Inspiration: The Rocky Mountain West
Colorado is beautiful in every season but never more so than in autumn. The headwaters of the Poudre River which feeds many falls starts at a high elevation near Cameron Pass on the northwest side of RMNP within Roosevelt Nat'l Forest. Water is released from mountain reservoirs and comes crashing over the rose colored rocks below. Hiroshige's waterfall prints were my inspiration for this image.
