Alpenglow & Fog Bank in Spring (2016)

Media & Technique: Pochoir, linocut & papier collage
Print Size:
Edition size: 13
Inspiration:
I often start a print without a clear idea of what I wish it to look like in the end. I allow the process to carry me where it will. Such is the case with "Alpenglow". I enjoy mixing mediums. This started as a stencil (pochoir) for the broad color areas such as mountains, fog bank and sky. Afterward I added collage for texture and the linocut of the trees for smaller linear detail.
